Senior Freshman (Second) Year

Courses in the Senior Freshman year expand on the scope of the introductory courses by looking more closely at different aspects of the subject.
Students choose six courses from a range of courses in Business Studies, Economics, Political Science and Sociology as well as complementary courses in the areas of Social Policy, Law, and French or German.
Broad Curriculum Cross-Faculty Courses are also available in English, Botany, History of Art, Geography, Geology, Law, Philosophy, Psychology or Drama as one of their six courses. These cross-faculty courses are part of an initiative to maintain and enhance the quality of the undergraduate learning experience. Find out more at www.bessonline.com/board.
At the end of the second year students decide which particular degree programme to follow in the third and fourth years of the course.
